Hahaha - I did an online presentation on "new features in CF8 you may have overlooked" just a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was recorded - will have to see if it worked. I covered most of the things Charlie mentioned and a few more besides.

nice, charlie A! i knew you'd done presentations on the "hidden gems", but hadn't yet seen the pdf. my article was by no means meant to be all encompassing. just a quick overview :) but as you alluded to, what i think is really cool is that publishers are starting to show an interest in CF (again). i didn't approach packt... they approached me (which was also pretty cool <g>). not only are they showing an interest in CF articles, but they're publishing a CF book: http://www.packtpub.com/coldfusion-8-developer-tutorial/book . i don't know the story behind the book (as far as who approached whom), but -very- nice to see a publisher being proactive about getting some coldfusion-related content. i hope to be able to provide them with some more down the road :)
