Hello From Taipei

I am in Taipei, capital city of the Republic of China, Taiwan, and home to an estimated 2.5 million people. My hotel is right next to the tallest building in the world, Taipei 101. I got in late last night, and have ColdFusion and Flex related customer meetings today. And then MAX Asia starts tomorrow morning.

hi ben, you should know that there is only one China in the world, Taiwan is not a country, it is NOT admit by UN. The reason for "why Taiwan has its own president" is: US protects Taiwan against China.

Hey Cedric, R.O.C was kicked out of the UN by PROC after the revolution. ROC was one of the founding members of the security council. Taiwanese people have their own ethnicity, and even get to vote, so they are very different from Chinese. Too bad you won't get to read this because of tyrannical government censorship in PROC. REMEMBER THE SQUARE!
