A couple of lesser known ones ... The official Pete Townshend site is running ColdFusion MX. This one sent to me by internationalization maven Paul Hastings. Paul, sorry, but the name Pete Townshend meant nothing to me, I hope that does not reflect badly somehow :-). Computer vendor Sager is...
This one sent to me by Matt Knight. Match.com International , the international division of Match.com , is powered by ColdFusion MX. Match.com is a leader in online match-making and dating services, with hundreds of domains in all the larger countries throughout the world, and is co-branded with...
I just did something that I never thought I would ever do, I deleted a thread from my blog. Well, I did not actually delete it (I could not bring myself to do that), but I did deactivate it, and that makes me cringe. No, I am not back-peddling or retracting anything (I may reactivate the thread at...
One frequently requested ColdFusion enhancement is the ability to distribute ColdFusion applications without having to provide CFML source. I first demonstrated this functionality in 2001 (before the release of ColdFusion MX), but then we never actually shipped that functionality. As I first...

CNN is reporting that "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will go on sale in Britain and the United States on July 16, 2005. Sweet, we get book 6 and movie 4 the same year!
Lots of you have asked me about books being updated for Blackstone, so here is the scoop ... The update to ColdFusion MX Web Application Construction Kit will be out at about the time that Blackstone ships (sorry, I can't give you that exact date yet). One exciting change this time around, Ray...
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I just don't get the fuss and hype surrounding GMail. Honestly, while it does have some cool features, it just does not work for me. But that being said, I have 6 more invites to give away. So, if you are one of the few remaining carbon-based life forms...
Pete Freitag blogged an apparent association between beards and successful languages . This one may be pushing it, but just to be sure I don't jinx anything, I'll keep mine. :-)
